The Orphan Car Show
This vintage automobile exhibition, featuring Studebaker vehicles, is a salute to automobiles, trucks and motor scooters that are no longer manufactured. The largest show of its kind in the Midwest, visitors can see such greats as Hudson, Tucker, Kaiser, Triumph, Cord, Duesenberg, Gotfredson and many more vintage autos exhibited by national and international participants. Show features a drive-by narration of vehicles by noted automobile historians.

Jump on Route 66 and head for downtown Ionia for the 2nd annual Ionia Classic Car and Truck Show. Show is held on Main Street in downtown Ionia just off of M-66.
Show is from 9:00 to 3:00 with registration from 8:00 to 10:00. $10.00 registration fee with goodie bags and dash plaques to the first 100 cars.
This is a judged show with trophies for 1st and 2nd place in over 25 classes. Music, food and fun for the whole family. (show will be held rain or shine)

45th Annual Carnival of Cars
Packard Proving Grounds, VanDyke and 22 1/2 Mile Rd., Shelby Township, MI.

Car show, car corral and indoor and outdoor swap meet sponsored by the Michigan Region CCCA and contributing to the restoration of the Packard Proving Grounds now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A new indoor swap meet area has been added to the already huge outdoor swap meet. A special Members Circle exhibit of special classic cars will be a unique opportunity to see cars that are usually seen only at concours style events such as Pebble Beach and Meadowbrook. Each regular car show participant will have his car photographed and printed in a unique calendar format as a thank you gift. Additionally, goodie bags are being prepared for the first 200 participants. DJ Boogie Brian will be putting on a show featuring a wide range of music and vintage car commercials. Food will be available.
